Hello, Paul.

I'm sorry but I can't give specific advice on a medical condition. But, here's what I can say:

Generally speaking, I think genistein is worth adding IF additional support is needed. Anything that's safe and that slows (and slightly reverses) the normal course of osteroporosis seems worth considering to me.

I did a quick search, at my favorite supplement store, and didn't see a product that exactly matched the one described in the Italian study.

It may take a little digging to find such a product. In all likelihood, that type of a supplement would require 2 capsules a day - like what was used in the cited study.

I hope this information is helpful.

Be well!

JP,
My wife (72 y/o)suffers of ostheoporosis and is not in Hormone Replacement Theraphy. She is currently taking Calcium Magnesium Citrate-LifeTime one tablespoon daily and Advanced Bone Protection, one vegicap daily.
Should a minicapsule of genistein be added to her protocol? Is it readily available?
Please advise.
Thank you,
Paul
