Thank you, Paul! :)

Doctors can order cortisol blood tests - though such tests are typically assigned to patients with suspected cases of Addison disease (under production of cortisol) or Cushing syndrome (over production of cortisol).

The test is used much more often in clinical trials such as a recent study conducted on Sensoril - one of the key ingredients in a product (Serenity Formula) that I just reviewed the other day.

I would be happy to write a column about natural ways to reduce cortisol. I haven't devoted an entire article to that topic yet. However, I have touched on this issue, albeit it briefly, in several of my previous blogs.

One last note: It's possible for patients to order cortisol tests on their own (usually online). This may be a good back up plan if your doctor isn't willing to order it for you.

Be well!

Hi JP,

This is a typical example of new findings that are unknown or discounted by allopathically trained doctors. Your advice to share new information with our doctor is right on target!

Could a test authorized by a doctor point out exactly the excessive presence of cortisol in your blood?

Thank you for your articles updating the advocate level of us patients!

IT COULD BE A GREAT SPECIFIC TOPIC THE NATURAL WAYS OF REDUCING YOUR CORTISOL LEVEL.

Keep up your great work!

Fascinating article! Stress resistance is so often overlooked in medicine, yet is at the core of disease prevention and recovery. Thanks for the great information!
