Mushrooms can satisfy hunger because of their fiber content and low glycemic load. Your brother is snacking wisely! 

I&#039;ll look into the very high HDL issue. It seems as though very high HDL is a rather rare occurrence. Nonetheless, it would be good to know about any negative aspects of higher HDL as well.

  You got to love mushrooms! My brother works as senior executive  and he always has mushrooms as a snack. He just puts the baby bella mushrroms or any variety in a bowl and put some water (plus salt and pepper) and he says it is a great snack and wards off hunger. Takes just 3 mins. they cook fast. On the HDL side, while it is always good to have a HDL around 50-60, one of the cardiologist whom i met in India (who also practises homeopathic(rare combo) mentioned that people who have very high HDL while having normal cholestrol levels otherwise(total cholestrol and ldl) carry risk of heart disease. Another very good post!
