Hypnosis Revelations
April 6, 2012 Written by JPClinical hypnosis is quickly making inroads into the mainstream of medicine. Thankfully, it’s no longer being viewed as the exclusive domain of esoteric healers or second rate magicians. Best Of Acupressure News and Reviews
February 21, 2011 Written by JPProspective consumers tend to categorize alternative and complementary therapies on a subconscious level. Best Of Chiropractic Adjustments
December 28, 2010 Written by JPI have a confession to make. Even after many years of using and working with natural medicine, I still have an underlying fear of chiropractors. However my concerns are often at odds with some of the positive evidence that exists about this widely utilized holistic technique. The most recent figures published by the National Center for Complementary and Alternative Medicine estimate that upwards of $4 billion a year is spent on “chiropractic or osteopathic manipulation” in the US alone. It appears that many health conscious consumers do not share my reservations about visiting their friendly, neighborhood chiropractor.

Best Of Natural Sinus Congestion Relief
November 8, 2010 Written by JPIf you’re one of the millions of people who suffer from chronic sinus headaches, today’s column is for you. Several weeks ago my wife was in the throes of a severe sinus headache that had lasted several days. Nothing we tried seemed to help drain her sinuses at all. Natural Headache Remedies
October 30, 2009 Written by JPAlternative remedies are generally best suited for the management of chronic conditions. On the other hand, acute symptoms and medical emergencies frequently require conventional care. If you break a leg, going to the hospital obviously makes much better sense than treating it with guided imagery and an herbal poultice. But with non-life threatening conditions such as recurrent headaches, the side effects associated with long term medication often make natural remedies a more attractive option. Read more »

December 4, 2008 Written by JPWe all get an occasional headache. But for some people, headaches are a regular part of life. And while taking pain relievers every once in awhile may be reasonably safe, taking them on a long-term basis may not be. Read more »
